Finalist @ Spark.me Pitch Contest
The Live Good team has, with BodyRecog - The Body Shape Tracking App, entered the finals of the Spark.me Pitch Contest held in Budva, Montenegro on 19-20 June 2014. and placed itself third.
Out of 120 applications, 10 startups coming from Germany, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Israel and Croatia, pitched in front a jury consisting of John Biggs (TechCrunch), David Raskino (Microsoft Venture), Dilyan Dmitrov (Eleven) and Heather Russell (Rinkya).
How does BodyRecog work? BodyRecog is a photoapplication, so you take a photo of yourself and BodyRecog instantly gets your body measurements and displays them on the photo.
What is BodyRecog used for? To track one's body transformation; whether to lose weight (fat), or to gain muscles. Regardless of the nutrition and/or exercise program one follows, BodyRecog will display exactly where and how much (in cm or inches) one has gotten thinner or bulkier.
Why would one use BodyRecog? To be more successful in achieving their goal, be it fat loss or muscle gain. It is a well know fact that seeing visually one's results keeps up the motivation to stick to one's decision and follow through whichever program (nutrition and/or exercise) one chose.
